History:
Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas was established in 1984 as a response to a dramatic increase in the number of impoverished single parent families in our area.

Each year Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas awards over $300,000 in scholarships to more than 100 scholarship recipients.

Single Parent Scholarship Fund receives no government funding.

Our scholarships are funded entirely by donations from individuals, local businesses, civic and community groups, churches, as well as foundations.

Contributions from all segments of the local community are vital to our continued ability to provide scholarships to deserving single parents.
