Leadership Council members are people who believe in the Red Cross mission and want to be a part of our work, but who don't have the time right now to commit to a full Board position. Your involvement may be as simple as attending free quarterly lunch meetings and then speaking out for Red Cross interests in the community, maybe being involved in a board committee or an operational work group, helping with a special event, or volunteering in the office or with a certain program of interest to you. The Leadership Council experience is an individual as each person involved and offers a tremendous variety of things to do, levels of commitment. If you want to get into a Leadership position but don't have a ton of time and resources to commit, this could be just the place for you. Requires: online background check (our cost), signed code of conduct, and completed volunteer application. |
