Bentonville Public School Parents As Teachers home visitation program delivers, during the holiday season, Turkey or Ham Dinners to 20 local 200 % poverty families serving 27 children, birth to 5 yrs of age, locally. In the past these were graciously donated by local churches and community members. These food bags will make a difference now as they have in the past holiday seasons. We have not received donations from any local organizations at this point to serve these families. All items are delivered to families ‘home either for Thanksgiving or Christmas. If donations are made of 40 dinners they will receive these meals for both Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. A family of 4-6 samples Bag includes 1 frozen turkey or ham, 2 Cans of vegetables, 1 box of instant potatoes/stuffing, and 1 can of fruit and/or 1 Dessert pumpkin/pudding/jello a can of cranberry sauce. It is your choice what basics or extras you would like the receiptant family to enjoy at their holiday dinner. All dinners delivered before November 19th will be delivered for Thanksgiving. If you wish to give to a family for Christmas Dinner items will need to be received by December 17th to be delivered. If you would like to donate any of these types of items beginning 10/12/2009 thru 11/19/2009 for thanksgiving or 12/18/2009.
