Coming together with a passion to help our neighbors in a time of need.

Description:
The Community Cares Coalition is a collaboration of local non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, school districts, faith-based organizations and concerned citizens in Winnebago County that are working to provide resources to those who are dealing with economic hardships.

History:
The Community Cares Coalition (CCC) was formed in November 2008. The coalition consists of over 50 local organizations and agencies and continues to grow. On January 22, 2009 the CCC hosted a Winnebago County Resource Fair for citizens who needed assistance due to the national recession. The CCC continues to meet twice a month to discuss further avenues of assistance for members of their communities.
