Requires a caring adult, as a mentor, spending an hour a week in a one on one environment with a youth. The youths age range from Kindergarten through 12th grade. As you spend time with a young person, sharing knowledge, there will be growth for the youth and adult, in the process. As one mentee wrote a one word comment on how her relationship with her mentor has made her feel, that word was "hopeful". Take time a plant some seeds. All mentors will receive orientation and initial training for the project. This training will last about 2 hours .
