As a volunteer in the kitchen you would be assisting with the preparations and distribution of breakfast, lunch, and snack daily. You may help make the daily meals, deliver the meals to the classroom, serve the food to the children and clean up or set up for the meals or snacks. Providing the children healthy meals on a daily basis increases their success in the classroom and at home. As a volunteer in the kitchen you to would play an essential role in the success of our children. If you are interested in volunteering for our program you need to fill out an application at the center including a background check. We will also do a short training with you and give you a tour of the center. You will be required to get a TB test and simple physical from our nurse.
