As a maintence volunteer you will be assisting in the up keep of the Siouxland Family Center and its many programs. You may be helping lanscape around the building. This area of the center provides a great educational exprience for all the children at the center. You may also want to help fix toys or playground equipment which also provides a much needed educational exprience. Lastly the center will never be too clean, so you may assist in cleaning various areas around the center. Providing the children a clean and safe enviroment to learn is an essential part of the educational eperience we want to provide to our low income children and families. You would serve as a great asset to that mission! If you are interested in volunteering for our program you need to fill out an application at the center including a background check. We will also do a short training with you and give you a tour of the center. You will be required to get a TB test and simple physical from our nurse. Following this you would be ready to get started in the Center This opportunity is sponsored by: Siouxland Family Community Center
