Tom knows how difficult cancer can be, he is a two-time survivor, now Tom volunteers to drive patients to their live-saving treatments and serves on a planning committee for Relay for Life. Tom is saving lives and fulfilling his. Local drivers needed to transport patients between their homes and treatment centers. These people are unable to get to their treatments any other way, but are mobile.
Road drivers must have a good driving record and consent to a background check. All volunteers are provided training and orientation. This opportunity is sponsored by: American Cancer Society- Iowa Region
