Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to help us in our ReStore that sells used and new housing material e.g. doors, windows, appliances etc. to the general public at significantly reduced prices. Items are donated (tax deductible) from businesses and individuals. There is a wide range of tasks you could assist us with such as helping to move items, assisting customers, working the register/counter, keeping the warehouse clean, and paperwork. We are open Monday - Saturday 9:00 - 5:00 and located at 1150 Tri View Ave.

We also need volunteers to help with house building. You have an opportunity to work along side other volunteers and the home-family members to build a safe and decent home for a family currently living in poor conditions. Volunteers work on Saturdays with opportunities to assist with actual building or providing food/drinks for site workers. Please call us for more information at 712-255-6244.

Other opportunities to help are available on occasion, e.g. fundraising, office work, etc. 255-6244

ReStore volunteers must be 16 yrs old.

You must be 16 to work on home construction sites and 18 to use power tools. Site supervisor will provide training on site. You do not need specific skills to volunteer.
