Big Buddies Advisory Board Ambassadors are adults in the counties of Lyon, Lincoln, Redwood, Jackson and Cottonwood who have an earnest desire to make a difference in the life of a child. Ambassadors do this in a variety of ways including: sharing the story with community members about the need for positive mentors and the success of the Big Buddies program; recruiting positive mentors; providing community insight to programming; and assisting at community awareness events and fundraisers. Ambassadors currently serve on the board for a two-year term and attend meetings held every-other month. Like our Big Buddies mentors, Advisory Board Ambassadors undergo a criminal background check.
