Volunteer Opportunity Details:
MRC, a partnership of United Way of the Midlands, Richland County School District 1, and City Year; is currently looking for volunteer tutors. Volunteers will work to accomplish the MRC's goal to increase literacy levels of underachieving kindergarten through second graders by extending the language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing by providing experiences to meet the individual needs of students. Volunteers must attend a basic orientation.  This opportunity is sponsored by: City Year
