Have you been looking for new volunteer leaders for your organization? Get connected with Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), the only organization in Columbia inspiring and empowering a new generation of Columbians to make their city a better place.
What:
The Volunteer Fair will include:
* Six-hour fair in conjunction with The Greek Festival, which attracts more than 70,000 attendees each year.
* We’ll provide the tent, table, signage and nametags, lunch and cold beverages for your staff (up to two representatives).
* Volunteer contact information: Each attendee will complete a card to request information from participating NPOs. COR will provide you a spreadsheet following the fair for your follow up purposes, complete with all contact information provided by the prospective volunteers.
* Volunteer Opportunity Resource Guide: Your organization and its volunteer leadership opportunities will be included in this new online and printed publication, in partnership with the United Way of the Midlands.
* Registration fee is $50 per organization. Space is limited, so please register early!

Saturday, September 22, 2007, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

* Help us promote the volunteer fair! Hang posters in your office and at other community bulletin boards (at your gym, church, doctors’ offices, etc.) or by handing out promotional cards to board members, donors, volunteers, friends – anyone you know!
