Help Quad City families claim their Earned Income Tax Credit and put money back into the hands of those that need it most.  Every year, hundreds of people just like YOU contribute their time and expertise to provide FREE tax preparation to thousands of individuals and families across the Quad Cities. Last year alone, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and AARP programs provided tax services directly impacting more than 3,000 individuals and families. If you have experience doing tax returns or just want to learn, and want to contribute to your community, we have the volunteer program for you. We are seeking volunteers in the following positions:  - tax preparers (free training available)  - greeters  - interpreters
