Lake Worth Resource Center(LWRC) seeks to improve the quality of life for all residents of the City of Lake Worth.

Description:
We provide a supervised center that allows registered day-laborers to meet with registered contractors and obtain work for wages.
We educate Lake Worth’s day-laborers and contractors about their rights and responsibilities and assuring that laborers are paid their wages.

We provide after-school tutuorial classes for youth, adult education classes, public safety education programs, and computer education classes in the center's computer lab.
We assist Lake Worth’s immigrant population to become an active and integrated part of the larger Lake Worth City community.

We build bridges and communication between the different ethnic, cultural and religious groups in the city of Lake Worth.
We provide occupational training, language and literacy instruction, counseling, health education, legal and other services to individuals registered with the center.

History:
The Lake Worth Resource Center is a consortium of agencies and organizations that provide services at the center. These include: The City of Lake Worth, The Mentoring Center, Our Lutheran Savior, Cristo Es la Respuesta, Maya Ministry of Diocese of Palm Beach, Coalicion of Guatemala, PBC Enviornmental Coalition, Palm Beach Community College, BuenaFe Center, Maya Quetal, Grupo Broadway,Lake Worth Global Justice, Organization of Mayan People In Exile, Adopt-A-Family, Interior Dimensions Group, Church of the Nazarene, Trinity Church International, and Society of Friends of the Quaker.
