The vision of ACE/FAAE is for every child in every school to have a well-rounded education that includes a comprehensive, sequential, high quality program of arts instruction.
Description:
Arts for a Complete Education/Florida Alliance for Arts Education
ACE/FAAE is a statewide organization of over 30 state partners and 32 county coalitions working in partnership with local arts agencies and community representatives at district and local school levels promoting arts in education.
ACE/FAAE serves a state community of coalition members, teacher grant recipients, arts educators and cultural agencies (including dance, theatre, visual, film and music) through outreach, resources and programs. ACE/FAAE directly impacts over 125,000 students annually throughout the state of Florida by providing grant and scholarship funding.
ACE/FAAE serves as a catalyst for arts in education by identifying needs and opportunities, providing teacher training and recognition programs, facilitating networking opportunities and resources to improve education through the arts.
History:
The state organization has been active in arts advocacy for 15 years. Our local organization has been active for 13 years.
