Boca Helping Hands is a community based organization whose purpose is to provide support to the poor and the hungry of Boca Raton through various food and assistance programs. Our intent is to help feed the needy in our community through a lunch program, a food pantry, and to connect them with area resources. In addition, we will seek to promote community awareness of our neighbors currently in need of assistance.

History:
In January 1998, a group of people from local congregations, concerned with the growing needs of hunger and the other problems in the community, got together to discuss solutions. Boca Helping Hands was formed. In April of 2002, we opened our Assistance Center to help close the circle of dependence by helping people find the resources they need. We also help people find jobs.
