Description:
Volunteers of the PBC Parks and Recreation Department assist in our recreational programs, parks and facilities in a number of ways. We offer numerous year round, short term and special event volunteer opportunities. Volunteers can be involved as photographers, office assistants, recreational program assistants, environmental assistants, and many more. We involve volunteers in many different facilities and programs such as nature centers, golf courses, Japanese museum, Therapeutic Recreation programs, campground customer service, parks maintenance, and recreation centers. We believe Volunteers enhance our ability to provide quality leisure services and thus quality of life for the residents and visitors of Palm Beach County.

History:
The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department is a part of your local county government system. We provide quality leisure programs and beautiful parks with active and passive recreational opportunities throughout Palm Beach County from Jupiter to Boca Raton and from the shores of the Atlantic to the canals of Lake Okeechobee.
