The Mentoring Center is a personal development, academic and, career coaching center. Our mission is to provide educational and mentoring services, to youth and adults, that leads to profitable employment or entrepreneurship. Access to our network of mentors coupled with training in our neighborhood digital learning centers, advances opportunities for economic self-sufficiency and personal success.
We are a volunter-based organization.

The Center offers equal access to high quality, technology-based, K-12 academic instruction, career coaching, job placement assistance, job skills and new business development training that enables individuals to help themselves, including:
Career Coaching, resume writing, job search and placement assistance.
Entrepreneurship, comprehensive new business development workshops.
Day Labor, hourly, daily, weekly job matching.
Ready to Work, State of Florida Workforce Education training and testing.
Digital Divide, free computers and training for low-income families.
Wireless Broadband, free wireless access for low-income families.
Academic Assistance, K-12th reading, math, science, SAT | ACT prep.
Adult Ed, English for the workplace workshops.
Basic Computing, MS Office Suite, locating information workshops.
History:
Founded November 6, 2002, the Mentoring Center Incorporated is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) public charity focused on education.
The Lake Worth Resource Center (LWRC) is a Mentoring Center and partners project. The LWRC matches Lake Worth jobseekers with employers for hourly, daily, part and full time work.
