Cafe Mouette (that's Cafe Seagull in French!!)

We are Seagull Industries for the Disabled, Inc., a private non-profit social service agency serving children and adults with developmental challenges in Palm Beach County for 30 years!
Our mission is to facilitate improvement in the quality of life of the individuals we serve through advocacy and the provision of a variety of educational, social, vocational, and residential programs designed to encourage achievement, self-reliance, and economic independence.
Cafe Mouette is our French-inspired cafe day that we treat our clients to on selected Friday afternoons! We transform our dining hall into a restaurant-style experience, and our volunteers become the hosts and hostesses! Most importantly, you will have a blast spending quality time with a terrific group of individuals!
Come be the wait staff, it's a fun and rewarding way to learn about Seagull Industries, and improve the lives of so many!
Lunch is provided to our volunteers in our Conference Room following the Event!

What will you need to do:
Cafe dates for the month of December: Friday, Dec. 6th and 18th -- please call us to sign-up in advance.
Arrive at Seagull by 11:15 a.m., and be able to stay until 1:00 p.m.
Provide company to the clients during lunch: must be patient, kind, and have a calm demeanor.
Help set up tables, and clean-up following lunch.
