Share your love of nature with children of all ages in our beautiful Wetlands Preserve! Help us get children outside to experience nature and learn about our wonderful Florida environment!
You will assist staff and or lead students during activities which may include hikes, boardwalk tours, dip netting, story telling, crafts, etc. Most activities will be outdoors and some will include hiking through various terrains, including mud and water. You may choose to only participate in specific types of activities.
Training provided.
Must enjoy working outdoors with students of all ages. Must become familiar with various activities to know what equipment and/or materials are needed for each. Most programs occur on weekdays lasting 3 to 4 hours each. Weekly shifts preferred with minimum of three shifts a month required. Minimum age is 16 years old. A completed Volunteer application and background check is required.
