The first smile visitors to Hanley Center's Main Campus are welcomed by is from the the Receptionist in our Admissions Department. Duties include greeting the Public, directing Visitor traffic, routing phone calls, receiving out-going mail, and some occasional clerical activities. Receptionists are scheduled in four hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are expected to dress professionally. Training is done on the job. Background checks and drug screens are completed on all Applicants at Hanley expense. Meals are provided for all Volunteers working four hour shifts. Volunteers also enjoy a 10% discount at our Serenity Bookstore and can qualify for scholarships to attend our Certified Addiction Professional certification classes. This position requires a friendly disposition and the ability to have fun.

Directions:
 Take I-95 to 45th Street in West Palm Beach. Proceed East on 45th Street to Australian Avenue – this is a large intersection just past a McDonalds. Turn left (North) onto Australian and get in the right lane. Immediately after going over the RR tracks, take the second right – 48th Street. Go to the Stop sign and turn left, then turn right into our parking lot. From the Visitor’s parking take the covered walkway to Admissions, the building on the right. The Receptionist will let us know that you are here. If coming from the East, go West on 45th Street past St. Mary's Hospital. Just before the RR Tracks, turn right onto East Avenue. Continue past the Stop sign to Hanley Center.
