Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Low income, poverty, single-parenting, latch-key scenarios, frequent changes in home neighborhoods and schools and boredom are just a few risk factors that increases delinquency. Many teens don't feel like they have consistent positive community ties. The 8th Annual "No Idle Hands" Teen Awareness Fair is a free community event is comprised of many community teen and youth organizations, non-profit agencies, businesses, local VIP celebrities, local & well known entertainers that have joined forces to form an alliance of teen awareness and support. This effort was created to give teens the opportunity to be a part of something worthwhile in the community and to become involved so as to have less idle time on their hands, thus supporting the effort that the Teen Awareness Fair aides in lowering juvenile delinquency. The Teen Awareness Fair also brings cultural awareness and education to the community. We are in need of volunteers to help us with various aspects of the 8th Annual No Idle Hands Teen Awareness Fair. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of youth and teens, your help would be a tremendous addition to our cause. Help us as we fight against youth and teen delinquency in Palm Beach County!
All volunteers are welcome! Teens are only allowed to work the morning set up shift or the break down shift because we want them to participate in the fair. This opportunity is sponsored by: Positive Habitat Aspiring Teens, Inc.
