Holiday Wish List

Holiday Wish List - There are several ways you can help Lice Solutions clients during the holidays: With 70% of our client's receiving free or reduced services, many of our children come from homes that can't even afford a hairbrush. We are putting together packets for both children and parents- help is needed in both areas.

  1. We are assembling hair kit packages for needy children-
these will include hair ties, mint shampoo, creme rinse, hair brushes, strong wide tooth comb, lice comb and a shower cap. Items are needed to fill these bags as well or cash donation to allow us to purchase needed bags. The costs of completed bags are $18.00 each.
  1. Many parents are unable to follow through with simple cleaning instructions since they lack the necessary tools to do so. We are looking for-
New sheet sets, all sizes but especially twin and double to supply to many of these households.
We also need lint remover brushes and in some cases upright vacuums. Donated items are appreciated or contributions to help make these items available.
With the proper tools, the chances of some families getting past their infestation are greatly increased.
Items for the children not only provide tools needed, but also help boost their self esteem and help reduce the damage already done from a simple case of head lice.
Gifts can be mailed or delivered to our office by December 19th in order to provide staff and volunteers time to package and deliver gifts to the families.
