We appreciate your support and welcome any questions you may have. Description: Porter County Family Counseling Center strives to meet the need of those in the community without insurance or the means to pay. Because of our commitment to providing mental health services to those who can least afford them, in 2007, Porter County Family Counseling Center provided clients over 1000 hours of direct mental health therapy. Porter County Family Counseling Center can provide counseling in a number of areas including: • Individuals • Families • Couples • Depression • Anxiety • Anger Management • Adjustment Problems All of our services include an initial phone intake, first appointment scheduled within seventy-two (72) hours of phone intake, fifty (50) minute counseling sessions and community resource referrals. To make a confidential referral to our programs and services, simply contact us or direct your client/patient to contact us at (219) 464-3919. We are easily accessible to the community at 554 S. History: Founded in 1968 as a non profit organization, the mission of the Porter County Family Counseling Center is to provide quality mental health services to anyone in our community who might otherwise be unable to acquire these services elsewhere, utilizing a very reasonable sliding scale, with fees averaging approximately $10 per session.
