Volunteer bakers create cake, cookies or other treats for the society to sell at its various fundraising events throughout the year. Bakers bring their goodies to the event the evening before or the morning of the event.
Our fundraisers occur throughout the year. Baked goods are an especially important part of our Summer and Christmas Open Houses.
Volunteers must complete a volunteer application. Applications can be obtained at the shelter during our weekend hours, on our website at http://www.catsociety.org/volunt.htm or by calling us at 219-785-4936 and asking for one to be mailed to you.
