Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The women that are currently living or have lived at the Shelter for Domestic Violence are dependent on their cars (many are older models) for employment. Many do not have the monetary resources for regular car maintenance, and it would be of great help for a volunteer to educate our clients on basic car care and routine maintenance.

A basic knowledge of automobile maintenance.

Very Rewarding

I love doing good deads for other people. I have found that the best way to heal is to help others. Helping other people makes me feel good about myslef. I can be very humble. Cleaning or babysitting would be fine. Taking care of a garden would be fun. The Caring Place gave me love and moral support during a very difficult time in my life.
