Our Family Center's Christmas assitance program: Gift of Hope, is drawing near. Our goal is to serve at least 75 families, 300 individuals. We are in the process of taking applications, cross-referencing with The Salvation Army and Catholic Charities and verifying the needs with the Hammond Family Services.
Donations and volunteers are greatly needed. We have received a few donations but many are still needed. Volunteers are needed for the set up day on Friday the 19th, 10 am - 6pm and the day of the event on Saturday December 20th from 9 am - 7pm.
Thank you for bringing hope to the families in Hammond and East Chicago. We are looking forward to having you participate (either with donations, volunteering or both), in this year's Gift Of Hope. Remember that businesses and churches that participate will be listed in the Gift Of Hope acknowledment program passed out to the families at the event as well as in our quarterly newsletter.
