It's Easy to Help:
1 Put some non-perishable food items in a bag and place it by your mailbox.
2. Your letter carrier will pick it up and deliver to local food banks and pantries.
Get More Involved! Volunteers are needed in Crown Point, Lowell, and Valparaiso
- To fold and staple plastic grocery bags to post cards.
- To walk carrier routes and help collect food. They must wear comfortable shoes and use their own vehicles.
- To drive rural routes that use their own personal vehicle with maps and pick up food.
- To unload postal trucks and reload into food bank trucks at post office.
