"I NEED A HUG" DRIVE

The VU Softball Team & the Volunteer Center need new stuffed animals for the "I Need A Hug" drive. All of the stuffed animals collected support this program in all 29 elementary schools in Porter Co. When a child is going through a "rough" time the Guidance Counselor lets the child pick a stuffed animal to keep with them at school, especially during counseling sessions, then they can take them home when they are feeling better. This is a powerful counseling tool for the schools and your contribution is needed. Drop off boxes are located at The United Way of Porter Co., The VU ARC, Meridian Title, Ceramix 101, The Valpo Library, Calumet Ave. Dairy Queen, and the Portage YMCA.
