Provide youth mentoring and homework assistance to primarily at-risk, ESL, minority, and Latino students in local middle schools and high schools. Topics can range from reading, salsa dancing, writing, science,math,history, and social studies. Responsibilities: ◦ Work with students one-on-one or in small groups. ◦ Provide additional instruction as needed for homework.
Qualifications: ◦ Need to be outgoing and friendly ◦ Spanish language familiarity is preferred ◦ Some post high school education preferred ◦ Independent and self motivated Training: Tutoring Class, on the job training Availability: At least an hour between 1pm - 4:30pm M-F, one session per week minimum
