Impact: Relocating Clients who are not strong enough or do not have the resources to relocate without assistance Housing is a primary concern of the Pierce County AIDS Foundation. Suitable, stable housing situations are crucial for people living with HIV disease. Volunteers help to make suitable housing available to Clients living with HIV by assisting with the packing and moving of Client's belongings to a more suitable location. Volunteers work in teams and with Client's to complete this task. This task can be arranged around a volunteer's schedule and is ideal for those seeking Weekend Volunteer opportunities with strong impact.
Qualifications: Background Check Ability to lift sixty pounds Personal Transportation Valid Driver's license and insurance New Volunteer Orientation Client Support Team training
