As a Volunteer Educator you are on the front lines of the fight against new HIV infections. You will be responsible for helping save lives through education and prevention material distribution. New training dates available in the middle of January 09- this is your opportunity to turn your passion into action
Prevent new HIV infection, fight the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS, educate others while advocating for those living with HIV/AIDS Volunteer Educators are specially trained volunteers who represent the Pierce County AIDS Foundation through speaking engagements, tabling opportunities, and educational events. You'll work on a team of other dedicated volunteers to educate members of the Tacoma/Pierce County Community serve as a resource for questions about HIV/AIDS and distribute condoms and safer sex materials to help people protect themselves.
