Thanksgiving Food Distribution -
*This Thanksgiving, don’t Make a wish…Grant one! Each year, an increasing number of families come to The Salvation Army for food at Thanksgiving. Last year, nearly 1,500 boxes of food were distributed; each one containing a bird and side dishes for a complete Thanksgiving meal.
*The Salvation Army has partnered with several local churches to collect food and resources needed to feed this many families. Volunteers are needed to package and distribute food. The food will be distributed on November 23rd – 25th at The Salvation Army. Individuals and groups are welcome. To volunteer during Thanksgiving contact Martha Alcantar at 253-572-8452 ext.116 or martha.alcantar@usw.salvationarmy.org.

All volunteers should be physically able to stand and/or walk-around for the duration of their volunteering time. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. Any volunteers younger than 18 must have an adult accompanying them.
