Family Care Network, Inc. seeks to enhance the wellbeing of children and families in partnership with our community.

Description:
The Family Care Network is a private, nonprofit children and families services provider. FCNI provides 17 distinct programs within five service divisions: 1. Therapeutic Foster Care; 2. Family Support Services; 3. Transitional Housing Services; 4. School-Based Mental Health and Delinquency Prevention Services; and 5. Community-Linked Services. All agency programs are based on Best Practices, Wraparound Principles, and evidence-based or promising practices. FCNI values integrity, accountability, program fidelity and outcome-based services, and is accredited by the California Alliance of Child & Family Services.

We have many opportunities for individuals, businesses and organizations to partner with our agency to help accomplish our mission. Partnership opportunities include: becoming a foster parent, mentor, tutor, intern, event volunteer, or event sponsor for one of FCNI's annual fundraising events: Miracle Miles for Kids, Taste of the Central Coast and Sponsor a Child for Christmas.

We invite you to learn more about the Family Care Network and to explore ways that you can join our circle of serving by visiting our website at www.fcni.org.

History:
Established in 1987 for the purpose of creating family-based treatment programs as an alternative to group home or institutional care for children and youth, the Family Care Network now operates multiple, accredited programs designed to strengthen and preserve families and individuals. In the agency's 20 year history, we have grown to serve 2,000 children, youth and families annually in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
