The mission of Valley Haven is to provide services and facilities for social day care to dependent seniors and to provide respite and supportive counseling to the caregivers of these seniors.

Description:
Many of the seniors attending Valley Haven have some form of dementia, or are frail and are unable to stay at home by themselves during the day. Valley Haven's program provides a safe place for them to go during the day where they engage in games, activities, crafts, baking, music and occasional field trips. They also have the chance to socialize with other people their own age. Valley Haven also benefits the caregivers of our seniors in that it allows them a much needed break to attend to their other responsibilities.

History:
Valley Haven opened in the Santa Ynez Valley in 1986, In 2000, we were approached by members of the Lompoc community about opening a facility in their community. We are the only adult day programs serving the Santa Ynez Valley and Lompoc.
