Santa Barbara Partners in Education is a non-profit organization with members from business, industry, government, elementary and secondary schools, community colleges, and four-year colleges. The mission of Santa Barbara Partners in Education is to develop outstanding graduates in the Santa Barbara area. We began our efforts in 1977.

Objectives

Develop community awareness of school performance and needs.

Identify competencies needed by graduates from our schools.

Identify standards for school performance.

Work to achieve maximum academic performance of ALL students.

Strengthen the teaching profession.

Advance the application of innovative practices and technology for school improvement.

Promote access to post-secondary education for ALL graduates from the local schools.
