Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Research names to correct contact information on mailing database and help us clean up 1300 incorrect addresses. This can be done from home or at the Garden using "google" and "dex". Start with 15 at a time or ask for more, and see if you can find more current addresses.

Must be able to use a computer to do people searches, and make the correct assumptions as to which addresses could match the person. If the volunteer works at home, their own computer is necessary.

Directions From the South: Take U.S. Hwy 101 north to the Mission Street exit. Turn right (toward the hills) at the off-ramp stop light. From the North: Take U.S. Hwy 101 south to the Mission Street exit. Turn left (toward the hills) at the off-ramp stop light. Proceed on Mission Street to Santa Barbara Street. - Look for the brown and white "Botanic Garden" signs. - Turn left onto Santa Barbara Street, proceed two blocks to the first stop sign at Los Olivos Street. - Turn right onto Los Olivos Street and drive past Mission Santa Barbara. - Continue north toward the mountains to the stop sign at Foothill Road (Highway 192). - Turn right onto Foothill Road; proceed to the stop sign at Mission Canyon Road. - Turn left onto Mission Canyon Road. - Bear right at the fork of Mission Canyon Road and Tunnel Road. - Proceed about 1/2 mile; the Garden is on the left at 1212 Mission Canyon Road (look for a large sign at the entry to the parking lot.) - If you have any difficulty finding us, please call (805) 682-4726, ext. 101 for assistance.   Nearest Bus Stop: 22/weekends only
