Be A BIG Just 1 Hour A Week!
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Oct 21, 2009 to Dec 21, 2010

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nationally recognized mentoring program which has been in existence for over one hundred years. The program pairs adults from all walks of life with youth in order to develop positive and rewarding one-to-one mentoring relationships.

One way to find out if being a Big Brother or Big Sister is right for you, would be to sign up to meet with your Little Brother or Sister at the Boys & Girls Club in Santa Maria and Guadalupe for just one hour a week. You can have fun together playing games, sports, or doing arts and crafts, or just hanging out together.

In Santa Barbara, contact the Family Service Agency to get involved in the Big Brother Big Sister program!

Volunteers for the Site-Based program (adults 18 and over or have high school senior status) come from a variety of backgrounds including military personnel, students, professionals, and provide a positive role model and friendship to a child in our community.

Be a friend - Be a mentor - Just be there!
