Our Mission: South Everett Neighborhood Center and Lutheran Community Services Northwest partners with individuals, families and communities for health, justice and hope. We are inspired by community and family directed, embracing all people by honoring diversity. We seek to strengthen and empower individuals and families by linking them to information, education, and resources. We are a family support center that is non-denominational, non-partisan and we offer a variety of resources, programs, classes and community events most at no cost to participants.
Description:
The South Everett Neighborhood Center reaches out and engages local residents to share their strengths and talents by volunteering. Together we have created convenient parenting classes with child care, accessible after-school activities for youth, support groups, citizenship classes, art classes for all ages, and outings that are inclusive of adults and children with developmental disabilities. The Center is open to all and we welcome every age, gender, marital status, race, creed, color, national origin, or existence of any handicaps.
History:
The South Everett Neighborhood Center is a Family Support Center of Lutheran Community Services Northwest. The Center has been in the Everett Community for over 13 years. We are located in a house in the View Ridge-Madison Neighborhood.
