The Mukilteo Library will offer a new program this fall, "Keepin' Knit Real". The program description reads: "Knitters of all ages and skill levels welcome! Share knowledge and build skills in a supportive atmosphere. Work on your own project, or knit an item for Families for Kids, a non-profit organization serving foster and adoptive families of Washington. Beginners: please bring a pair of #8 or #9 needles and a skein of double-knit yarn." This knitting group will meet every other Thursday beginning September 10th, from 10:00am - noon.

The Knitting Group Leader needs to be a friendly, approachable, patient person with basic knitting skills and the ability to help beginning knitters get started, fix knitting mistakes, and read knitting patterns. The Knitting Group Leader would need to come to the Mukilteo Library on the following Thursdays from 10:00am to noon: Sept. 10 & 24; October 8 & 22; November 5 & 19; December 3, 17, & 31. I will provide coffee, tea & cookies if that will sweeten the deal!
