Groups and individuals can team up at a local postal station on Saturday, May 13th, from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., or 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., unloading non-perishable food donations from the Carriers’ vehicles to help get them back out on their route.

This time of year is especially critical for many food banks, since their stock of holiday donations runs low just as school breakfast and lunch programs close for the summer.  Children in particular benefit from extra food provided by the NALC food drive.
