RSS XML FeedBackground Active Dec 27, 2006 to Jan 27, 2007

The "Point In Time" census of Snohomish County homeless individuals will be conducted between 6 AM on January 25 and 2 AM on January 26. Volunteers are needed to work in small groups or at specific regional drop-in centers to assist with the census and to provide information to those in need of services. Training will be provided for volunteers throughout the day of the census. This is a great opportunity for individuals, students, groups, businesses and voluntary organizations to gain greater understanding of the complex issues of homelessness - directly from those experiencing it.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian - or be part of a specific supervised group (i.e., church youth group, scouting organization, etc.). Please contact A/Captain Dana Libby of The Salvation Army for further information:

Sponsored by The Salvation Army - Everett & Snohomish County.
