United Way of Southeast Alaska is a volunteer-driven organization that creates lasting change by bringing people and resources together to address community-wide issues.  We address individual needs and improve lives by organizing the caring and collaboration of our communities; including helping children and youth succeed, caring for the elderly and people with disabilities, promoting wellness and self-sufficiency, and meeting the basic needs of people in crisis. United Way of Southeast Alaska has the unique ability to coordinate and network with many types of nonprofit agencies, community associations and businesses to promote effective collaboration on pressing community issues.

Our vision is to improve lives and address needs by organizing caring and collaboration in our communities. And we strive to represent several core values: stewardship, leadership, service, collaboration, and caring.
