Volunteer Opportunity Details:

If you love to get the best price for healthy food, and you can imagine meals that feed families, you may love this opportunity. Each Tuesday morning the shopping volunteer reviews a list prepared by our advocate, drives our van to a couple of big stores and the food bank (as needed). They drive back to the shelter and our staff unloads the food to their places on the shelves. This opportunity can easily rotate Tuesdays with another volunteer.

Our requirements for this opportunity is a good driving record, working drivers license, ability to lift 10 lbs. and a sense of responsibility and good decision making.
