Foster Care Awareness Month
RSS XML FeedBackground Active May 1, 2006 to May 31, 2006

Spring and summer are the season of new life yet Connecticut, along with the rest of the nation, sees more and more children who are legally free for adoption but have no adoptive family identified. It is easy to help children in need, espcially during Foster Care Awareness Month in May. Sadly, Connecticut has more than two hundred children in State foster care who need a family to help them bloom into their full potential. Does your family have a little love to share? Many people who have considered adoption do not realize that adopting from foster care is free!

For more information on how to give the gift of a family to a child and the gift of a child to your family, contact Sandra Couillard, Executive Director at CARA, (860) 444-0553 or visit www.adoptacarakid.org.
