Day of Caring
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Apr 6, 2005 to Jun 20, 2005

Each year on Day of Caring, hundreds of local employees spend the day volunteering at nonprofit organizations. The projects range from painting to cooking to landscaping to working hands-on with agency clients. We encourage companies to allow their employees to take the day and lend a hand in their community. Best of all, United Way staff is happy to discuss with you the type of project(s) and time(s) that match your interests. You can volunteer for a full day or half-day. The great part for you as a company is that you can see firsthand how United Way is making an impact in the community through its partner programs. It's also a terrific team-building opportunity.
