Amethyst Center is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization providing Housing and Human services to individuals with Mental and Physical challenges.
It is our desire to promote integration into the community through work, education, and supportive relationships with family, friends and community networks.

Description:
Amethyst Center was established in 1992 to provide services to individuals with Mental Illness and Developmental Disabilities. Our services are provided in a variety settings. Amethyst Center provides services in Licensed Group homes, Apartment settings,
Supportive independence homes, and to individuals living in their own homes. Amethyst Center provides the following services: Housing, Social Work Services,
Medical Services, Education services, Psychiatric Services, Substance Abuse Services, Personal Growth and Development, Transportation, Supported Work Programs. Additional services are provided in collaboration with other service providers.

History:
Amethyst Center, Inc. (formerly Emerald Place, Inc.) was established in 1992. The purpose of the organization is to provide a living environment which maximizes the social and psychological growth of the individuals we serve. The organization serves to enhance independence and self sufficiency while meeting the needs of each individual in a dignified and humane manner.
