When a child is placed in FC and removed from their home, it often takes place under emergency conditions and the child in many instances has very few personal belongings to take with them. Our Tender, Loving, Care program is designed to provide every child in Oakland Co. who is removed from their home due to abuse or neglect, with a bag filled with essential and comfort items. The child will know that this bag is theirs to keep and we hope that it will help them in some small way during this difficult time of transition. If you would like to donate any items, gift cards, money or sponsor a fundraiser to benefit this project, please contact me. We also need help in organizing the items and maintaining stock. None. This opportunity is sponsored by: MI Dept. Of Human Services-Oakland Co.
