Assault Response Advocates offer survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their significant others immediate intervention including support, information, alternatives, and aid in problem solving early on, at the time of crisis. This is carried out at emergency rooms, police stations, prosecutor's office, courts, as well as any other safe place.

Assault Response volunteers complete 40 hours of training including an agency orientation session, complete necessary paperwork and background check.

This opportunity is sponsored by: First Step

Volunteers will work with the following groups
Abused / Battered  Older Adults (55+)
Adolescents (13-17)  Young Adults (18-25)
Adults (26-54)
We need volunteers who are free at these times
Evenings  Weekends
Weekdays
This volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers
Adults (26-54)  Individual
Adults (55+)  Young Adults (18-25)
This volunteer opportunity addresses the following social interests
