Local domestic violence agency seeking volunteers to assist with writing grants to help women and teenagers leaving abusive relationships. Looking for My Sister (LFMS) has evolved from a grassroots peer support group into a professional direct service provider and crisis intercession center. We are a faith-based, holistic service provider that offers peer-support education and victim/survivor support sessions. Our mission is to empower women and girls of domestic violence and prepare them to achieve self-sufficiency by giving them the necessary skills and resources they need so that they will be able to break the cycle of abuse in their lives. We are looking for serious dedicated volunteer who want to help make a difference in the lives of women and their children.
